THE

FREE WITH WORDS SCHOLARSHIP 20I9

We are delighted to announce the first Free With Words scholarship for the 2019 Novel, Short Story & Memoir retreat in Italy this coming September. Applications will be accepted from writers who come from marginalised groups.

SCHOLARSHIP 2019

The closing date for scholarship applications has passed and submissions are no longer being accepted. Please subscribe to our newsletter here to keep up to date on future scholarship opportunities with Free With Words

“I am delighted that the

Free With Words scholarship targets writers from marginalised groups. As readers we need to learn about a diversity of experience. Often writers from marginalised groups are excluded from opportunities for their work to be nurtured and to grow. This scholarship encourages new voices and gives an aspiring writer space in their lives to create.”
