GETTING TO
Arezzo
FROM IRELAND

The nearest and handiest airport is Pisa, with direct flights from Dublin daily (Aer Lingus and Ryan Air). You can also fly to Bologna which is a similar distance away, or Rome, which is a three hour drive or two hour train ride.
From Pisa by Car (2 hours)

On exiting the car rental area at Pisa airport, at the very first roundabout you meet take the first exit towards superstrada Firenze-Pisa-Livorno.

After 65km take exit onto A1/E35 towards Roma.

After 75km take exit for Arezzo and follow signs for the city. You will need approximately €10 for tolls.

From Pisa by Train (2 ½ hours)

The Pisa train station is right beside the airport, within a short walking distance.

To get to Arezzo, you will need to change trains at Florence. The change is an easy one!

You can buy your train ticket in the arrivals hall at Pisa (at the right end of the hall), but we recommend you book it in advance here.

From Bologna by Car (2 hours)

From airport follow directions for Milano/Firenze/Tangenziale/Casalecchio di Reno and merge on to Autostrada A14.

Take exit on left for Firenze (A1/E35).

Take exit toward A1 var - Variante di Valico, then continue on to A1/E35.

After 95km take exit for Arezzo and follow signs to the city. You will need approximately €10 for tolls.

From Bologna by Train (2 ½ hours )

Get the BLQ train from airport to Stazione Centrale (about 25 min journey).

From there catch train to Arezzo, changing at Florence.

Follow directions for A91 from airport (signs for Roma)

Take the exit toward E35/Firenze/Aurelia

Take exit 10-8-9 for E35/A1 toward Firenze

Keep left at the fork, follow signs for E35/A1/Firenze

Stay on the E35/A1 and take exit for Arezzo
-
Follow signs to the city centre. You will need approximately €10 for tolls.
From Rome by Train (3 hours)

Take airport train to Termini Station in centre of Rome

Catch direct train to Arezzo.

FROM THE UNITED KINGDOM
The nearest airport is Florence, with British Airways flying direct. Next is Perugia, with Ryanair flying direct from Stansted. There are also direct flights to Pisa, Bologna and Rome from the UK. Rome is the furthest away.

Exit for motorway, following signs for Firenze (A1/E35).

After 27km, take the exit for Arezzo and follow signs for the city.
From Perugia by Train (2 hours)

The ACAP-SULGA shuttle bus takes 30 minutes to go to the main railway station (Stazione di Perugia) to the centre of Perugia.

From there are direct trains to Arezzo, with a journey time of one hour. Book your tickets here.
